San Diego DMV Negligent Operator Hearing

Have you received a letter from the DMV San Diego Driver Safety office stating that they believe that you are a Negligent Operator?

This usually happens when you have exceeded the number of points allowed by the DMV to keep your driving privileges.  A common example is speeding ticket usually counts as 1 point.  The DMV uses a point system and if you exceed the following, your license could be suspended/revoked:  4 points within the last 12 months, 6 points within the last 24 months and 8 points within the last 36 months.  Upon receipt of this Notice from the DMV, you must request a hearing to determine whether or not you keep your license or not.  If you fail to request the hearing, your license will be automatically suspended/revoked.

If you have received one of these Notices, do not try to go at this alone.  You need the help of an attorney experienced in fighting these types of cases and can help you save your license.  Contact the Law Offices of Aaron T. Hicks for a free consultation at (619) 940-5566 or aaron@athlaw.com.
